Rachael directs This Sinking Island

After a year of virtual theater, Rachael directs an in-person children’s play about Climate change. Devised by The Anthropologists, written by Melissa Moschitto, with music by Mariah Freda, and presented by Rising Sun, this play explores the immediate and longterm affects of climate change in a powerful way that children (and adults) can engage with.

Rachael acts in an Original Children’s Theatre Festival

Rachael plays the Possum in Holly Gepp-Galván’s Playing Possum as a part of Rising Sun Performance Company’s Theatre for Young Audience Parks Tour, which tours the New York City Parks, and culminates in a theatre festival on Governor’s Island.

Rachael designs a virtual production of The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein

Rachael works with Untitled Theatre Company 61 to design and technically manage the virtual production by Edward Einhorn, which was streamed live through OBS and YouTube as a part of a fundraiser for Untitled Theatre Company 61.

Rachael Directs The Tall Blonde With the Toy Giraffe

As a part of Metropolitan Playhouse’s East Village Stories Unmasked virtual play festival, Rachael directed a cast of three in an original play reminiscing about The East Village in the 1980s.

Rachael directs City of Dark by Michael Hagins as part of Rising Sun’s lab at the 14th Street Y. This production was performed in person, and streamed live to a virtual audience via YouTube.

Rachael creates graphics for Tell The Story: Celebrating Sondheim and Weidman’s Assassins at Classic Stage Company

As the Digital Marketing Associate for Classic Stage Company, Rachael created the graphics for the virtual performance celebrating the highly anticipated CSC production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Assassins, along with the promotional materials. She also set up the video streaming, which premiered to over 14,000 people.
